Load the Device Exchange System database by importing location and meter data from your billing system. DES supports all major AMR file formats and can easily map any delimitted or fixed-width file.

CHANGE OUT FILES

GIS INTEGRATION

Import existing geo-coordinates or geocode location addresses to help your field crews efficiently find install locations. Capture coordinates during the install and generate GIS files for the utility's engineers. Visualize install locations in our web dashboard, Google Earth or any other GIS application.

EXCEPTION NOTIFICATIONS

Configure job-specific distribution lists for email and text-message notifications that are automatically sent when installation exceptions occur.

Billing System Integration

A successful smart meter installation project requires the efficient transfer of data to and from the utility billing system. DES can import data from all leading billing systems for setup of locations and old-meter data. And DES will generate meter change-out files to ensure the smooth transfer of new-meter information back into the utility billing system.

Our browser-based management console also makes it easy for you to monitor the project, easily viewing completion status and individual installation details including digital photos and map views. Email and text message notifications can be automatically sent to job-specific distribution lists when exceptions occur in the field.
